Company receives notice of state
approval First independent trust company
in Miami in years
A group of prominent
trust, banking and corporate executives
have received notice from the Florida
State Office of Financial Regulation
that it intends to approve the
application for the formation of the
Coral Gables Trust Company, the first
new, independent trust company in Miami
in recent years. Located at 255 Alhambra
Circle, Suite 435, in the heart of the
Coral Gables financial district, Coral
Gables Trust Company will focus on
affluent clients in South Florida. Our
professionals will provide personal,
one-on-one trust and investment
services, said Dean Klevan, Jr.,
President & Chief Executive Officer.
According to Klevan, a
former Executive Director in Morgan
Stanley's Private Wealth Management
division in Miami, the demand for trust
and investment services for affluent
families and foundations has risen as
many of the traditional banks offering
these services are focusing on ultra
high net worth clients. Filling an unmet
need in the market for clients who want
personal contact and the counsel of a
trust and investment professional, Coral
Gables Trust Company intends to target
affluent clients including individuals,
families, foundations, employee benefits
plans, and businesses with investable
assets of at least $500,000.
The Company has already
assembled several experienced executives
in trust and investment management.
