Coral Gables Trust
Company receives state charter
Following their
successful target capitalization in the
amount of $ 4 million in late February,
the Office of Financial Regulation of
the State of Florida has granted a trust
company charter to the Coral Gables
Trust Company. Located at 255 Alhambra
Circle, Suite 435, the Coral Gables
Trust Company provides wealth management
services to affluent clients in South
Florida.
"As the only independent
State-chartered trust company in
Miami-Dade County, we fill a unique
niche in South Florida," said Dean
Klevan, President and CEO. According to
Klevan, the demand for trust and
investment services for affluent
families and foundations has risen as
many of the traditional banks offering
these services are focusing on ultra
high net worth clients. Several banks
have trust departments, however, no
other financial institution focuses
solely on wealth management and
fiduciary activities.
Coral Gables Trust
Company offers wealth management and
fiduciary services for affluent
individuals, foundations, endowments,
and employee benefit plans with
investable assets of at least $500,000.
Portfolios are structured using an open
platform thus ensuring independent
evaluation and selection of the best
managers in each asset class. Coral
Gables Trust Company's personal service
model includes access to senior
management thus filling a local void as
national trust companies have adapted a
regional service model, particularly for
smaller accounts.
"There is a true need for
the services we provide," added Jim
Davidson, Chairman of the Board and an
investor. "Where do you refer someone
with a million dollar account who needs
trust and/or wealth management services
and who wants local, personalized
service"
Coral Gables Trust Company is a wholly
