COMPANY ELECTS FOUR NEW MEMBERS TO THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Coral Gables, FL. May 1,
2006. Coral Gables Trust Company, the
only independent State-chartered trust
company in Miami-Dade County, has
elected four new members to its Board of
Directors, all of whom are outstanding
local and national leaders in the
community and accomplished business
executives. The newly elected Directors
are William H. Holly; William T. Keon,
III; Allan J. Pekor; and Peggy B. Sapp.

knowledge and expertise as well as deep
contacts in the community will assist us
greatly as we continue our rapid asset
growth and successful track record."

William H. Holly is the
founding Principal of Miami's Holly Real
Estate and Miami Apartments Building
Investors. Holly Real Estate focuses on
private clients and commercial real
estate projects in the Florida
marketplace. Previously, Mr. Holly
founded the Miami office for Insignia/ESG
and was a Director at Cushman &
Wakefield. He is currently the Chairman
of the Historical Museum of Southern
Florida and the Vice Chairman of the
Board of Ransom Everglades School.
William T. Keon, III is
President and Chief Executive Officer of
Nutritional Sourcing Corporation, the
largest supermarket and video rental
operator in Puerto Rico and the U.S.
Virgin Islands. Prior to that, he was
Vice President of Spalding & Evenflo
Companies and held senior positions with
the Cisneros Group in the US, England
and the Caribbean.
Allan J. Pekor is
Executive Director and Chairman of the
Board of Trustees of The Lennar
Foundation, the arm of the Lennar
organization dedicated to community
involvement and charitable giving
throughout the country. Prior to that,
he was President of Lennar Financial
Services, Inc., the division of Lennar
engaged in mortgage banking, title
insurance and closing services, personal
lines insurance and technology. Pekor
was the CFO for Miami?s Lennar
Corporation, one of the nation?s leading
home builders, a position he held for 18
years. Allan has long been active in
community service and currently serves
on the Board of the United Way of
Miami-Dade, as Vice President of Temple
Beth Sholom in Miami Beach, and on the
Board of Directors and Executive
Committee of the Community Partnership
for the Homeless.
Peggy B. Sapp is
President of Miami's National Family
Partnership, a national network of
parenting organizations. She is also
President and CEO of Informed
Families/The Florida Family Partnership,
an agency she helped create, developing
it from six volunteers into a
multi-million dollar agency with
statewide and national outreach to
families, schools, and communities. Mrs.
Sapp is a recognized leader in drug
prevention through grassroots
involvement and is the recipient of
numerous honors and community service
awards.
These four Directors join
the following existing Board members -
James Davidson, Chairman of the Board,
former banker with Goldman Sachs and
Founding General Partner of Banyan
Mezzanine Fund, L.P.; Dean Klevan,
President and CEO, former executive with
Citicorp, Merrill Lynch, and Morgan
Stanley; Willard Wheeler, Jr., Chairman
of the Investment Committee, Former
Chief Investment Officer and Vice
Chairman of Northern Trust Company of
Florida; Ron K. Bailey, Chairman of the
Audit Committee, Retired President of
Strayer University in Washington, D.C.;
David W.S. Chambers, former President of
Merrill Lynch?s Trust Companies and CFO
of Bessemer Trust; Janet Risi Field,
President of Independent Purchasing
Cooperative; and Dr. George Mekras, a
medical consultant and retired
physician. Officers of the company are
Richard Conger, Senior Trust Officer and
David Moore, Senior Investment Officer.
