Mr. Kress serves as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Trust Administrative Committee. He is also a member of the Company’s Executive Committee, Marketing Committee, and Succession Planning Committee. Mr. Kress retired from The Northern Trust Company where he held positions as the Bank’s Fiduciary Practice Leader for Miami-Dade and Broward Counties and as Senior Trust Administrator for a select group of high-net-worth clients. He is member and past president of the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami and is a member of the Board of Directors of Vizcaya Museum & Gardens Trust, Inc., Philanthropy Miami, Inc., and the Peacock Foundation, as well as being a member of the University of Miami Planned Giving Advisory Board. He was a member of the faculty and past board member of the Florida Trust School and the American Bankers Association National Trust School. He earned an A.B. in English Literature from Dartmouth College in 1967 and a J.D. from The University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1971.
