Donald A. Kress serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Coral Gables Trust. He is Chairman of the Trust Administrative Committee. He is also a member of the Executive, Marketing, Client Service and Succession Planning Committees. Mr. Kress retired from The Northern Trust Company. There, he was Fiduciary Practice Leader for Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. He also served as a Senior Trust Administrator for a select group of high-net-worth clients.
Mr. Kress is Chairman of the Peacock Foundation and is a past president and member of the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Vizcaya Museum & Gardens Trust, Inc. and is a member of the University of Miami Planned Giving Advisory Board. Previously, Mr. Kress was a board member of Philanthropy Miami. He also served as both a faculty member and board member of the Florida Trust School and the American Bankers Association National Trust School. Mr. Kress earned an A.B. in English Literature from Dartmouth College in 1967. He received his J.D. from The University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1971.
