With over 26 years of experience in trust administration and estate settlement, Ivan Shegota, CTFA, AEP®, brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to Coral Gables Trust. His career includes key leadership roles at several of the industry’s most respected financial institutions. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Trust Officer at Citigroup’s Trust Administration Group in Palm Beach, FL.
He has also held positions as a Senior Trust Administrator at Merrill Lynch Trust Company and as a Trust Associate in Wachovia’s Legacy Management Advisors Group. A strong advocate for community involvement, Ivan is a board member of the East Coast Estate Planning Council in West Palm Beach, FL and a member of the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council.
Ivan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida. He also completed the educational requirements for the Certified Financial Planning Program at Florida State University. Additionally, he graduated with honors from the Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School I, II and III. He earned his Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation in 2008 and holds the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) credential.
Today, Ivan Shegota resides in Boca Raton, FL, with his wife, Jodi, and their three children.
